Intimations – w/c Sunday 23rd May 2021

Here are the Intimations for w/c Sunday 23rd May 2021.

1.     Our Sunday service is held in the church hall at 10.30am, with a second service at 11.45am, and our midweek Thursday service is also at 10.30am. If you wish to attend you must reserve a seat in advance by calling Mima McSwan on 01294 602410 as our numbers are still limited. The 10.30am Sunday service will also be available live via YouTube, with a recording available shortly afterwards. The pre-recorded audio service is also available via the Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and all main podcasting sites.

2.     Our informal Zoom chat session is held on a Tuesday morning, between 10.30 and 11.30am. For those without internet access you can also dial in to the chat session using a special phone number – all the joining details are on the website and in the Messenger.

3.     Articles for the Kirkgate Messenger should be sent to Elizabeth McMahon by next Sunday please, 30th May – email messenger@kirkgatechurch.org.uk. This will be the last magazine until September.

4.     Requests and dedications for the next Kirkgate By Request programme should be with Stuart also by next Sunday by emailing requests@kirkgatechurch.org.uk. This will be the last programme for the time being so a good singalong is promised!

5.     The Church of Scotland’s General Assembly started yesterday and runs through to its close on Thursday afternoon. The proceedings will be live streamed and available for everyone to watch on the Church of Scotland website. This year’s Lord High Commissioner is Prince William, and the new Moderator, Rt Hon Lord Wallace of Tankerness QC has been installed.
