Intimations – w/c Sunday 17th January
Here are this week’s intimations:
We’re now hoping to use Zoom for our live Sunday services going forward. The login details are on the website at the top of this page, and a reminder that anyone can also dial in via the phone even if they don’t have internet facilities. The details can also be provided by the Session Clerk, Vivien Bruce, if you don’t have a relative or friend who can pass them on to you. The full details will also be in the next Kirkgate Messenger. Hopefully this morning’s service will go smoothly, but bear with us if we have any technical hitches whilst we get used to the new setup – a recording should be available afterwards via the website.
Starting on both Tuesday and Wednesday this coming week and every week thereafter, there will also be an informal Zoom chat session between 10.30 and 11.30am. You don’t need to stay for the full hour – just pop by and say hello to anyone that’s there, whilst enjoying your morning coffee! Again, joining details are on the website.
A reminder that if you wish to receive a printed copy of the Kirkgate Messenger, then starting from the February edition it will only be available by post or email and we are asking for a small donation of £9/year to cover the cost of postage. A letter and return form was sent to every member along with the church’s Christmas Card and calendar. If you wish to receive a printed copy of the magazine, then please return the form with your payment, or contact Elizabeth McMahon on 464428, before next Sunday. Ongoing Covid restrictions mean that we are unable to hand deliver the magazines like we used to do. It will still be emailed out to members for whom we hold an email address, and it will be available as a download on our website.
Articles for the next Kirkgate Messenger are required by Sunday 31st January. That is the same date if you wish a request or dedication in the February edition of the Kirkgate: By Request programme – email requests@kirkgatechurch.org.uk
