Intimations – w/c 7th January 2024
Here are this week’s intimations:
1. Our Sunday Service is held at 10.45am and is also available online live via YouTube with a recording available afterwards on the website, Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and podcasting channels. The midweek Thursday service continues every week at 10.30am. The Sunday School is also available for children of all ages.
2. Kirkgate Messenger: Given that the proposed union of the Ardrossan and Saltcoats churches is not going ahead as planned, we will now be continuing to produce the Kirkgate Messenger for the time being. Copy for the next edition will be required no later than Sunday 28th January with printed editions being posted out around the 1st February.
If you would like to receive the Kirkgate Messenger by email then please send an email to messenger@kirkgatechurch.org.uk or pass a note of your email address to either Stuart or Elizabeth McMahon and we’ll add you in to the email list for the next edition.
If you would prefer to get a printed copy of the Kirkgate Messenger posted to you, we ask for a small donation towards the postage (£1 per issue or £9/year ). Again, contact either Stuart or Elizabeth McMahon to be added to the postal list. For those that already receive the Kirkgate Messenger by post and wish to continue, then please renew your postage donation for the forthcoming year (£9) as soon as possible. Cheques should be made payable to “Ardrossan & Saltcoats Kirkgate Parish Church”.
The new advertising year also commences in February. Please let us know of any businesses or individuals that may be interested in taking out an advert – costs start at just £40 per year for one unit which is great value. We thank everyone, and all our existing advertisers for their support.
3. The Care and Share lunch run in conjunction with CHANA, is held in the hall every Friday from 12.30pm – 2pm.
4. Our large hall is currently being redecorated – as such our small hall and annexe are storing many of the items from the hall – please take extra care whilst the work is being carried out.
