Intimations – w/c 6th October 2024

Here are this week’s intimations:

1. Our Sunday Service is held at 10.45am and is also available online live via YouTube with a recording available afterwards on the website, Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and podcasting channels. Sunday School for children of all ages is also available. The midweek Thursday service continues every week at 10.30am.
   Unfortunately, the phone service and podcast won’t be updated this week.
2. Donations for the Blythswood Shoebox Appeal can still be brought to the church. The shoeboxes will be getting dedicated on Sunday 27^th October.
3. The Craft Team meets on Tuesday from 1pm and the Bible Study meets on Wednesdays at 7pm in the church hall.
4. Our Lunch Club organised by Chana continues every Friday from 12.30pm.
5. Tickets are now available for the Fashion Show on Friday 18th October. See Phyllis Armstrong or any of the fundraising team.
6. There will be a mandatory Safeguarding training course for all elders still to complete it, on Wednesday 9th October at 7pm in Kirkgate.
7. This Sunday will be our Harvest Thanksgiving Service, with monetary donations going to the Argyle Community Shop. We will also be celebrating the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
8. The Guild resumes on Monday 7th October at 2pm with a Communion Service and Dedication. Tickets costing £5 are also on sale for a Guild concert and afternoon tea which will feature a small music group – The Midgies.
9. Slips are now available for folk to nominate their Top 3 hymns which will be used to compile a ‘Top 10’ Hymns of Praise service to be held on Sunday 27th October at 10.45am. Completed slips can be left in the boxes beside the entrance doors or handed to Stuart.
10. There will be a Craft Fair in the church on Saturday 26^th October from 10am-3pm.
11. There will be a Coffee Morning and Book Sale (as well as clothes, bric-a-brac) in Adelaide College on Saturday 12th October from 11am – 2pm.
