Intimations – w/c 4th December 2022

1.     Our Sunday Service is held at 10.45am and is also available online live via YouTube with a recording available afterwards on the website, Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and podcasting channels. Sunday School available for young people. The midweek Thursday service is held every week at 10.30am. Please note that the phone service or podcasts won’t be available this week.

2.     The Bible Study meets on Wednesday at 7pm in the church.

3.     The Craft Team meets every Tuesday from 1pm and the Care and Share lunch run in conjunction with CHANA, is held in the hall every Friday from 12.30pm – 2pm, and the Country Dancing meets as normal on Thursday.

4.     Next Saturday, 10th December we’ll be holding another Christmas Tree Festival in the church from 10am, with a Shoppers’ Carol Service at 3pm. This year’s theme is simply the Christmas Story, and there will be activity/quiz sheets for children.

5.     Next Sunday 11th December, we will be holding a gift service in aid of the “Night Before Christmas” campaign. Please bring gifts for any ages unwrapped.

6.     St Cuthbert’s Church will be holding a Service of Lessons and Carols on Sunday 18th December at 3.30pm in the church to which all are invited. They also hope to augment the choir for the occasion, and anyone wishing to take part can come to a rehearsal on Thursday 15th Dec at 7pm. It would be useful to know by the 11th Dec if you can attend to ensure that sufficient music is available. Contact details on the noticeboard.

7.    The funeral service for Lex Macdonald will take place in Kirkgate on Friday 9th December at 10.30am, and thereafter at the Clyde Coast & Garnock Valley Crematorium, Largs at 12 noon.
