Intimations – w/c 31st March 2024

1.     Remember that the clocks spring forward one hour this weekend!

2.     Our Sunday Service is held at 10.45am and is also available online live via YouTube with a recording available afterwards on the website, Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and podcasting channels. The midweek Thursday service continues every week at 10.30am. A Sunday School is also available for children of all ages.

3.     This Sunday, Easter Sunday, we will also be holding Holy Communion. There will be a retiring offering in aid of the church fabric fund. There will be tea & coffee after the service.

4.     Contributions for the Kirkgate Messenger should also be given to the editor, Elizabeth McMahon, by today please.

5.     The Kirk Session will meet on Thursday 11th April at 7pm. Reports should be sent to the Session Clerk by Thursday 4th April.

6.     We are having another rag bag collection which will be uplifted on Tuesday 23rd April. We have some spare black bags in the vestibule for anyone needing some extra ones to fill.

7.     There will be a quiz night and light supper on Friday 26th April at 7.30pm. Tickets costing £6 are now available from any of the fundraising team. See Phyllis Armstrong for more information.

8.     Guilds Together North Ayrshire are collecting items to send to Ekwendeni Hospital in Malawi. Donations of paracetamol and ibuprofen tablets, plasters and bandages, as well as knitted blankets would be most acceptable. Please speak to Vivien or Chrissie for more information.

9.     Finally, a caution that parking wardens are now patrolling the streets and you are advised not to park on the double yellow lines in Chapelwell Street across from the church!
