Intimations – w/c 27th June 2021
1. Fingers crossed that our live stream on YouTube works without any problems tomorrow. An engineer from BT has been out with his proverbial hammer and fixed a fault on our broadband line, and our upload speeds are now much better! However, if the livestream doesn’t work, there will be a recording uploaded to the website and YouTube later on tomorrow.
2. Our Sunday service is held in the church hall at 10.30am, with a second service at 11.45am, and our midweek Thursday service is also at 10.30am. If you wish to attend you must reserve a seat in advance by calling Mima McSwan on 01294 602410 as our numbers are still limited. The 10.30am Sunday service is also available live via YouTube, with a recording available shortly afterwards. The Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and podcasting feeds will be available later on Sunday afternoon.
3. Our informal Zoom chat session is held on a Tuesday morning, between 10.30 and 11.30am. For those without internet access you can also dial in to the chat session using a special phone number – all the joining details are on the website and in the Messenger.
4. Next Sunday night from 7pm, there will be an online audio organ recital available on the website, phone and podcasting channels, featuring a selection of pieces played during our daily organ recitals as part of our 150th Anniversary back in July 2017.
5. A reminder that the Prayer Group will meet via Zoom on Monday 5th July at 7pm. Joining details are on the website and in the Messenger.
6. Finally – it’s just 6 months until Christmas, but our team of volunteers have already started wrapping shoeboxes for the annual Blythswood Appeal. Each year they need over 200 boxes, and they ar in short supply this year – if you have any available then please bring them along to the church or contact Maureen Hunter on 464969 who is willing to collect them from you or your friends.
These are all this week’s intimations.
