Intimations – w/c 1st August 2021
1. We have now received permission to increase our congregation at Sunday services in the church hall, and we will now be able to accommodate 33 people in the congregation (as opposed to 18). This is due to the 2m social distancing being reduced to 1m. We are also allowed to sing now, but have to continue to wear masks. We will not be standing to sing. We will continue to provide the hymn videos and hope that the congregation will sing along behind their masks if they wish.
Because of this change, from tomorrow, Sunday, 1st August, we will only be holding ONE service on a Sunday morning, which will revert back to its original timeslot of 10.45am. It will still be available online live via YouTube with a recording available afterwards on the website, Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and podcasting channels.
It will still be necessary to reserve your seat in advance by contacting Mima McSwan on 01294 602410, and it will be equally important to let Mima know if your plans change and you will not be coming as there may be a waiting list for other folk wishing to attend.
2. The midweek Thursday service will still be held at 10.30am with seat reservations still required by phoning Mima.
3. Our informal Zoom chat session continues every Tuesday morning, between 10.30 and 11.30am. For those without internet access you can also dial in to the chat session using a special phone number – all the joining details are on the website and in the Messenger.
4. Our minister will be on holiday for the next two Sundays, and Mr Andrew Bruce will be taking the Sunday services, and looking after any pastoral duties during that period. Andrew can be contacted on 01294 605113.
These are all this week’s intimations.
