Intimations – w/c 13th March 2022
1. Our Sunday Service is held at 10.45am and is also available online live via YouTube with a recording available afterwards on the website, Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and podcasting channels. It is still necessary to reserve your seat in advance by contacting Mima McSwan on 01294 602410, and it is still equally important to let Mima know if your plans change and you will not be coming as there may be a waiting list for other folk wishing to attend. The midweek Thursday service continues at 10.30am with seat reservations still required. We also have a Sunday School available for any children present.
2. Anyone wishing to donate to Ukraine can do so by placing their donation in a suitably marked envelope in the offering.
3. We will be holding a Quiz Night on Friday 18th March. Tickets cost £6 which includes some half-time savoury snacks and a raffle ticket. Please see either Eunice McInnes or Phyllis Armstrong for your tickets.
4. We are looking forward to running an Alpha Course at Kirkgate on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm starting Wed 23 March. All members of the church and members of the community are welcome to join. So, if you have never done an Alpha, have questions about our faith, or know someone you think would be interested – come along on Wednesday evenings! We will start with a meal together, watch a video about different topics of Christianity, and chat about what we’re learning together. We are also looking for a few people who would volunteer to help facilitate the evenings. Please contact Katy Flanigan at 07821 039757 or Nigel if you have any questions.
5. The Craft Team meets on Tuesdays from 1-3pm.
6. The Care and Share lunch run in conjunction with CHANA, is held in the hall every Friday from 12.30pm – 2pm.
7. The Kirk Session will meet after the service today in order that the church accounts can be approved. The next regular Kirk Session meeting will be held on Thursday 31st March at 7.30pm.
