Intimations – w/c 13th February 2022
1. Our Sunday Service is held at 10.45am and is also available online live via YouTube with a recording available afterwards on the website, Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and podcasting channels. It is still necessary to reserve your seat in advance by contacting Mima McSwan on 01294 602410, and it is still equally important to let Mima know if your plans change and you will not be coming as there may be a waiting list for other folk wishing to attend. The midweek Thursday service continues at 10.30am with seat reservations still required. We also have a Sunday School available for any children present – however it won’t be held this Sunday (13th February) due to the school holiday weekend.
2. The Prayer Group will meet after the close of this morning’s service.
3. The Pastoral Care Team would like to start a rota for transporting members of the congregation to/from church on a Sunday. If anyone is willing to do this please add your name to the sheet in the vestibule, or speak to either Moira Cooper, Evelyn Green, Jennifer Fox or Jean Hay.
4. It is our intention to restart the rota for door duty in the next couple of weeks. This will entail being at the front door to welcome people, but will not involve counting the offering. If you are willing to help with door duty please speak to Vivien or put your name on the list in the vestibule.
5. We are in the process of obtaining a carpet for the sanctuary. Several people have already expressed a wish to help with this purchase. Should you wish to do so please put your donation in an envelope marked ‘refurbishment’ and place it in the offering. It would also be beneficial to note on the envelope if you are eligible for gift aid. Many thanks once again for your generosity.
6. The Craft Team meets on Tuesdays from 1-3pm.
7. The World Day of Prayer service will be held in Kirkgate on Friday 4th March at 2pm. There will be another planning meeting in the hall for anyone interested in helping with the service on Monday 21st February at 2pm.
8. The Care and Share lunch run in conjunction with CHANA, is held in the hall every Friday from 12.30pm – 2pm.
9. Our minister is on holiday this week and Andrew Bruce will be taking the service. Additionally, Ardrossan Presbytery has also appointed Nigel as the Interim Moderator for Stevenston Livingstone linked with Ardeer following the translation of their minister Rev David Sutherland to Hillington Park Church in Glasgow.
These are all this week’s intimations.
