Autumn Concert – St Cuthbert’s Church

The Arkleston Singers, a small Paisley based mixed voice choir, will perform a concert in Saltcoats St. Cuthbert’s Church on Sunday 2nd October from 7.00pm until 8.00pm. Doors open 6.30pm.

The Arkleston Singers first came together in 1979 as a fundraising group for a trip to the USA by the then Scottish National Orchestra Chorus. When the fundraising was over, the singers decided to stay together and continue to perform for their own enjoyment and the pleasure of others.

Under the guidance of their Musical Director Marcus Kitchen and accompanist Christopher Nicol their programme will be a mixture of sacred and secular music. Peter Livingstone will contribute some organ solos to add to the evening.

Refreshments will be available following the concert and instead of tickets your appreciation can be acknowledged by contribution to the Beatson Cancer Charity as you leave.
