The pre-recorded audio service is still available via the Twilio phone service and podcasting sites.
- Our short midweek Thursday Services have restarted at 10.30am, again with the requirement that you must reserve a seat in advance by calling Mima McSwan on 01294 602410.
- Our informal Zoom chat sessions are held on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings every week, between 10.30 and 11.30am. Joining details are on the website and in the Messenger.
- The latest editions of the ‘Word for Today’ & ‘Word for You’ are now available and can be uplifted from the Baptismal font at the rear of the hall after our services.
- Afternoon Tea – Given that restrictions on large gatherings and social events are going to be continuing for some time, the Kirk Session thought that it would be a nice gesture to provide every member of the congregation with a small afternoon tea, courtesy of the church. The afternoon tea will consist of a round of sandwiches, a sausage roll, a scone or piece of fruit bread and a couple of small cakes. Due to the number of afternoon teas that are required, we are going to be splitting the delivery of them over three weeks, on the morning of the following dates:
-
- ARDROSSAN / SEAMILL – Wednesday 21st April
- SALTCOATS – Wednesday 28th April
- ·STEVENSTON / KILWINNING / IRVINE / DREGHORN – Wednesday 5th May
If you have any special dietary requirements (eg Vegetarian / Vegan / Gluten Free / Diabetic etc), or if you know that you won’t be available to receive the delivery, then please contact Margaret Cassidy on 01294 605535, mobile: 07833 348947, or by emailing her on m-cassidy2@sky.com BEFORE 16th APRIL.
If we don’t hear back from you by the 16th April, we will assume that you are happy to have an ordinary afternoon tea and will be available to receive it on the appropriate date listed above.
It would also be great that when you receive it, you maybe take some photos of yourself enjoying it, and send them to messenger@kirkgatechurch.org.uk so that we can share a selection of them in the church magazine.
These are all the intimations for this week.
