SUNDAY WORSHIP – 22nd March
We’re hoping to stream the live service from West Kilbride Parish Church tomorrow morning. Note that their service starts at the earlier time of 10.30am. The live twitter feed with the stream can be viewed at www.kirkgatechurch.org.uk/live2 or by clicking the link in the top menu above ^^^.
INTIMATIONS:
- Please remember to keep our pastoral care team up to date of anyone who is feeling unwell or in hospital, or who maybe would just like a chat if they are not able to get out and about, or if they maybe need some assistance in getting shopping etc. Please email pastoralcare@kirkgatechurch.org.uk in the first instance and someone will get back to you. Telephone numbers are in the Kirkgate Messenger.
- This week in the Presbytery Prayer Diary we are asked to pray for all those in training for the Ministry, of which Douglas Creighton is our last student within Ardrossan Presbytery. Do you know anyone who has an interest in working for the church? Then please get them to contact the vocations team at ministry@churchofscotland.org.uk.
- Until further notice, there will be no groups meeting within Kirkgate Church. The Guild outing to see Fiddler on the Roof has obviously been postponed as well, and at the moment it is hoped to reschedule that for October 10th. More details nearer the time.
- Anyone with items for the Kirkgate Messenger should send them to the editor, Elizabeth McMahon, at messenger@kirkgatechurch.org.uk by next Sunday. Our intention is to email the magazine out to everyone for whom we hold an email address, and for the remaining members, it will be posted out for this edition only. This will ensure that everyone receives a copy of it with all the relevant information for the next few months. In May, the magazine will be emailed and available to download from this website.
- Whilst the church remains closed, we obviously still have our overheads, so can we ask that if you do not have a standing order in place for your offering, that you consider setting one up, or at least put aside your weekly offering, or freewill offering envelopes until they can be uplifted – full details will be in the next magazine.
- If you receive one of our weekly memory sticks with the recordings of the Sunday Services, we hope to be able to continue this service, but please remember to return any memory sticks which you have listened to.
