Presbytery Mission Plan

As intimated on Sunday, the Presbytery has issued the latest draft of the proposed Presbytery Mission Plan. This draft now contains the decisions on buildings. At present the plan for our Mission Group (Group 2) is that the congregations of Ardrossan Park, and Saltcoats St Cuthberts, North Parish and ourlseves unite to form one congregation with one Kirk Session but two ministers. It is recommended that our building and that of Park Church is retained and the other two are disposed of.

The Stevenston congregations would unite to form a new congregation wiht one minister, and West Kilbride will also remain as part of the Mission Group.

It is also envisaged that there would be an additional 0.5 FTE Mission Development Worker and possibly 1 Ordained Local Minister (OLM) to support the work of the Mission Group.
