Intimations – w/c 5th September 2021
1. Our Sunday Service is now held at 10.45am. With 1m social distancing in our hall we can now accommodate 33 people at our services. The service will still be available online live via YouTube with a recording available afterwards on the website, Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and podcasting channels. It is still necessary to reserve your seat in advance by contacting Mima McSwan on 01294 602410, and it is equally important to let Mima know if your plans change and you will not be coming as there may be a waiting list for other folk wishing to attend.
2. The midweek Thursday service continues at 10.30am with seat reservations still required by phoning Mima.
3. Our informal Zoom chat session continues every Tuesday morning, between 10.30 and 11.30am. For those without internet access you can also dial in to the chat session using a special phone number – all the joining details are on the website and in the Messenger.
4. The Prayer Group will meet for a short time of prayer at the close of the service on Sunday 5th September.
5. The Kirk Session will meet via Zoom on Thursday 9th September at 7.30pm.
6. The September edition of the Kirkgate Messenger is now available and has been posted out and emailed to everyone who has requested it. It can also be viewed on the website. The audiobook version will be available on the website and phone service later this week.
7. We are now looking for gifts for putting in to the Blythswood Shoeboxes – further details of required items are in the Kirkgate Messenger, and they can be brought along anytime in September.
8. We will be holding a rag bag collection once again in October, but due to limited space for storage, we are asking folk to only bring their black bags the week before the collection date which is due on Tuesday 26th October.
These are all this week’s intimations.
