Intimations – w/c 26th March 2023

Here are this week’s intimations:

1.     Remember that your clocks go forward this weekend! If you forget you’ll still arrive in time to have your tea and coffee after our service!

2.     Our Sunday Service is held at 10.45am and is also available online live via YouTube with a recording available afterwards on the website, Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and podcasting channels. Sunday School available for young people. The midweek Thursday service is held every week at 10.30am.  Tea and Coffee fellowship will be held after the service on the last Sunday of every month.

3.     The Bible Study meets on Wednesdays from 7-8pm in the small hall.

4.     The Craft Team meets on Tuesdays from 1-4pm.

5.     The Care and Share lunch run in conjunction with CHANA, is held in the hall every Friday from 12.30pm – 2pm.

6.     The Guild will meet on Monday 27th March when the speaker will be Alex Blair talking about local history.

7.     The Country Dancing meets on Thursday 30th March at 2.30pm.

8.     We will be having a ‘Spring Clean’ in Kirkgate on Saturday 1st April from 9.30am for a morning of cleaning and tidying out cupboards.

9.     Material for the next Kirkgate Messenger should be given to the editor, Elizabeth McMahon by today, Sunday, 26th March, please.

10.  Holy Week Services:
Short Meditation Service every day in Park Church at 10am.
Mon 3rd April – Wed 5th April:  Kirkgate at 7pm
Thurs 6th April: North Parish Church at 7pm, including Holy Communion
Fri 7th April: St Cuthbert’s Church at 7pm

11.  We’re holding another Rag Bag collection – uplift will be on Tues 25th April. Black bags are available in the vestibule for anyone wishing some.

12.  Advance notice: There will be a fashion show in the church on Friday 28th April. Tickets costing £5 will be available from next Sunday.
