Intimations – w/c 20th March 2022

1.     Our Sunday Service is held at 10.45am and is also available online live via YouTube with a recording available afterwards on the website, Twilio phone service (01294 444201) and podcasting channels. It is still necessary to reserve your seat in advance by contacting Mima McSwan on 01294 602410, and it is still equally important to let Mima know if your plans change and you will not be coming as there may be a waiting list for other folk wishing to attend. The midweek Thursday service continues at 10.30am with seat reservations still required. We also have a Sunday School available for any children present.

2.     This week’s Sunday service will be conducted by Rev Everisto Musedza, who is currently undertaking familiarisation training within the Church of Scotland.

3.     Anyone wishing to donate to Ukraine can do so by placing their donation in a suitably marked envelope in the offering.

4.     The proposed Alpha Course starting on 23rd March has been postponed as there has been very limited uptake for it. Please speak to Nigel if you are still interested in attending one at a future date.

5.     The Craft Team meets on Tuesdays from 1-3pm.

6.     The Care and Share lunch run in conjunction with CHANA, is held in the hall every Friday from 12.30pm – 2pm.

7.     The next Kirk Session meeting will be held on Thursday 31st March at 7.30pm.

8.     Articles for the next Kirkgate Messenger are required by next Sunday please (27th March).

9.     The new carpet for the church sanctuary will be arriving soon, and we require some volunteers to assist with light cleaning of the sanctuary on a regular basis going forward. Please speak to Vivien to add your name to the rota.
