Election of new minister – result announced
The Kirk Session met at lunchtime on Sunday 6th September via Zoom to count the votes for or against Rev Nigel Chikanya becoming our new minister. The result is as follows:
FOR: 113
AGAINST: 4
Nigel has verbally accepted the result of the ballot and is our new minister-elect. We will now be liaising with Presbytery as to when and how we may be able to hold an induction for Nigel – more information on that in due course. But for now, we send our best wishes, greetings and prayers for exciting times ahead to Nigel and his family.
